How it works
Auctions
Penny auctions work like regular online auctions, but with 2 exceptions:
- It is only possible to increase the price by 1 penny per bid. This way the prices will always stay low!
- Bidit.eu charges a small fee of 20p - 80p for each bid that is placed. This enables us to sell products for only a fraction of the retail value.
Apart from this Bidit.eu is like any other online auction. You place your bid, and if no one bids over you before the time runs out, you get to buy the product for the amount you bid. If another user places a bid before the time runs out, the auction clock will restart to give you another chance to win!
Explanation

The auctions are separated into different product classes, depending on the popularity and retail value of the product. Each class deducts a certain number of bids from your balance when you place a bids on an auction. For example, bidding on a Product Class 1 auction deducts 1 bid from your balance, bidding on a Product Class 2 auction deducts 2 bids and so on.

The price you have to pay for the product. The price only increases by 0,01 cents per bid.

The clock shows how much time is remaining before an auction finishes unless any more bids are placed. The time can vary from between 30 seconds and several minutes. Each time a bid is placed the clock will restart.

Click the BID-button to place your bid.

The BID IT!-button sets the auction time to at least half of the ordinary. This function is reserved for Gold Users only.

Autobids: Activate the autobid function to have Bidit automatically place a bid for you if the auction is about to finish without you having the last bid. This way you can also win auctions when you are away from home! Enter the number of bids you want to reserve and click Activate.

The auction time shows the current time the clock will restart at if a bid is placed. This time varies from auction to auction, and can be reduced at any time to make the auction more exciting!

Cashback: Get a reward for being the most active user on an auction. The user that places the most bids on an auction gets a certain number of bids transfered to his balance for free when the auction finished, regardless of who actually won the auction!

Our auctions are normally open between 9am and 11pm. The auctions are paused during the night. You can still place bids and autobids, but an auction will not finish outside of opening hours. Some of our auctions are open 24 hours, and these will have special markings.

Delivery time: All products are sent as soon as possible.
User classes
Bidit.eu currently offers 2 different user classes: Standard and Gold. Each class has different benefits to increase your winning chances and the user experience!
You keep the benefits of your user class as long as you have an active subscription, and you can easily choose a user class or upgrade your current user class by clicking a function that is reserved for a higher user class or clicking the upgrade link in the sidebar after log in.
